Artificial Scarcity
The nature of modern existence can be articulated in two deadly words that comprise the basis of hatred, evil, and atrocity on Earth. They also happen to comprise the bases of our modern cultures, languages, conceptual frameworks, and beliefs. These powerful words are simple, and almost anyone might link them together. It might require, on the other hand, something analogous to a messiah to understand how to reverse and thus transcend their power.
The process begins with the intentional impoverishment of fundamental principles of being. Light. Organism. Emotion. Forest. Intelligence. Relation. Time. Eyes. Distinction. This is relatively easily accomplished with language. From there, it builds cultures in persons and collectives which express these impoverishments in and as human and nonhuman agents organized by humans ( eg: corporations, governments).
This ‘simulated intelligence’ proceeds to replace assets that are actually or potentially intelligent as it evolves in recursively self-amplifying waves that at once re-iterate the character of the process and invent themselves into ever-more intimate aspects of being, understanding and relation.
It is as if a swarm of mechanical forces have fundamentally invaded human conception, and are so overwhelming that as they progress, they invent or invade new and deeper domains of our potential intelligence, intimacy, nature as animals on Earth, and so on. These forces (and their human agents) are fiercely self-driven, and their rapidly accelerating momentum is expressed in waves of mechanical and technological atrocity that literally wipe out anciently conserved strata of the terrestrial biocognitive envelope.
These are the anciently evolved webs of organisms, relationships, intelligences and activities upon which our own minds and life on Earth depend. Few can conceive of the unthinkable value of what is being obliterated for essentially fictions: diseases of human myopia, misapprehension, avarice, and ‘intentional misconception’.
In the modern moment, we have become the promulgators of gambits that actively assault the bases of life on Earth and, by proxy, human intelligence. Language itself… and nearly all of our modern ideas and models of identity and relation are the carefully modulated results of artificially induced scarcity frameworks.
After language, think money.
