Darmok assisted me in re-framing and reconsidering my entire relationship with language… and the evolution of human consciousness as it relates to representation. I was not technically skillful enough to see all of the implications, but I was overwhelmed with a few of them, and they profoundly influenced my ability to relate with language and meaning in general when I was able to integrate some of the hints that this framework supplies into my own awareness of language, relation, communication and meaning.
