Each of the organisms of earth comprises a living vehicle of explicit biorelational intelligence. Each form is, in a sense, a living compass. It alerts us to the existence of character and dimensionality in nature that we would otherwise be oblivious to. Every creature and relationship is a metalanguage over time. The sum over this metalanguage is the history and future of life on Earth.
Each form is a record of exploration, combat, recognition, development and relation. Each form exemplifies a plethora of unique temporalities. They are keys to a labyrinth all life comprises, each one unique, each one complete.
A person whose compass is abstract, and sees only the 4 directions does not see the orders that are apparent in the forms of organisms. Does not see the directions. Radial, bilateral and asymmetrical directions are written in the actual forms themselves. Even such simple physical directionalities are meaningful (and overlooked too easily outside of ‘science’).
But the nature of organisms, ecologies and relationships is explosively more rich than we imagine, because it is deep and diverse enough to act as a field against which intelligences such as ours may arise or distinguish themselves.
The relationships, the ecologies, the organisms. They are living compasses that, intimately understood, comprise a field-intelligence of unimaginable depth, potential, significance and reality.
Because every one is fact. And you will find not a fiction amongst them. The beings and their relationships are actual. Our ideas and models… are bare fictions in the face of them.
