Before I came up a rung, the stuff that I thought was exotic and interesting, was mostly confused conflations of misapprehensions dealing with anomalies, the supernatural, NDEs, UFOs, and so on. Then I came up a rung. Suddenly, none of that was interesting, all of it was clearly confused misidentification of other phenomenon, and ‘ordinary reality’ became a billionfold more interesting and ‘anomalous’ than the entire field of anomalism. Now, at least, I can sort an anomaly from a traditional misapprehension, conflation, fantasy, narrative, psychosis, trance event, and so on. In the beginning, I was blind and considered myself an expert. Now I simply see and know myself to be a student of the ordinary, which shockingly exceeds the entire domain of science, religion, and ‘metaphysics’. Explosively. Every time I approach it.
