If you could inhabit a single day in the life of an urban sparrow, you would learn a terrible secret: the greatest of human warriors and heroes? Well, to be kind, they managed about 1/10th of any common ‘sparrow day’ in a modern human city. Wouldn’t it be ironic if the forces they all faced and were made noble or destroyed by were nothing but the shadow of their people in the future body of nature?
What if ‘the Angry and Terrible Gods’ of history, were the living spirit of our modern actions in Nature, as if the biosphere is a superposition over time. So what our ancestors experienced would have been a terrifying nightmare all around them. Not because nature was. Because their own people and actions would generate that result in endless waves, backwards in time, ‘toward our own origins’. Which turns out to be nearly all of what we do right here, right now. And thus is not as unlikely as it sounds, or as inexplicable. Any flowing stream has aspects that are, in turbulence, moving backwards. Suppose then a ‘summation over them’. This would produce results unlike we can imagine, but much like the stories that remain in the books and records that survived from ancient cultures.
What if ‘the flood’… which all the world knew… was the results of what we are doing… and refusing to acknowledge… right now?
It was. And is. And more than this is true.
