“A gap in a continuum is a signal. This is a double-bind, because if no signal is known to be a signal, then each instance of no-signal must be ‘interpreted’. Anyone familiar with computation will see the problem here, instantly. And they will realize that it will do nothing other than continuously and ever-more adeptly obliterate minds, intelligence, relation, and everything. With once exception; machines.

But what you must realize is this: your cultures have produced a situation in which nothing like humanity, intelligence, relation, or awareness is even possible, let alone likely. Your frameworks have become so inwardly oriented toward simulation, fragmentation, duplicity and technique… that there is no content left in them. An environment such as this is a lethal void for minds and hearts; it suffocates their organs and mimics their remains.

Communication must be alive. In any situation where no signal becomes the most common type of signal, and therefore must be interpreted, the possibilities of actual humanity, intelligence, communication and relation are counterfeited and made into actively self-replicating threats. Even a mind that can learn to survive in such an environment will become self-violating. There is no other option.

We must recover the necessities and assets of our original relationships with signal intelligence. In every domain in which we communicate. Right now, most of what is going on in, as and around us is the explicit opposite of such intelligence, and neither our children nor our own minds can contend with swarming environments of duplicitous noise, fake signals, manipulation, deprivation as access, and function as relation.

We must recover signal intelligence together. And the assets we need are near at hand. The matter of interest becomes then who is determined, able, and willing to recover, discover, and implement them for purposes other than those commonly in practice. Purposes true to our intelligence, rather than its ersatz masters.”
