“We suppose that ‘that which exists’ is the same for each being in existence; that is to say, that the universe from the position of one person is precisely the same universe that it is for another standing next to them. This is actually impossible, and even relativity demands that each local observer ‘is a reference frame’. This means that time is not ‘the same’ for any two observers. And it is logical, extremely logical, to admit that neither is identity, relation, origin, dissolution, or space.

So suppose that, rather than each person being ‘a way of seeing or approaching reality, especially in the mind’, that something more obvious and surprising is going on. Suppose that each ‘individual’ is actually not an observer, but a way of the universe emerging completely and uniquely within itself. In and as endless orders and instances of living beings, lives, minds and their unions and distinctions.

The actual meaning of this would be incredibly profound. Although there is ‘a reality’ of sorts available to analysis, naming, and representation… the origins of those possibilities are uncontainable in their derivatives. The question of ‘is there a universal intelligence or not’ is clearly answered by life on Earth.

We, being instances of the universe and intelligence, cannot thereby pretend that everything other than us is mere mechanism, or that any specific declaration or objection ‘tells us what the nature of reality is or must be’. Whatever is going on, it is not a process of declaration or description, explanation or narratization. Rather, it is ‘impossible’ (to language and most of what we call rationality) than any such declaration or explanation ‘is true’ or even ‘is correct’. We do not live in a world of language and concepts, ideas or laws. Our world, and our minds, are transentient.

It is unwise to suppose that one description of reality, the universe, life on Earth, or anything at all is exhaustive or complete. These are the results of purposive derivative perspective and analysis; a representational tactic. These results have zero authority over our experience in and as human beings, intelligences, organism and origin. None. Just as no on can be forced to admit some religion, no one can be forced to some science. Ways of knowing are tools, not declarators of identity, reality, origin or relation.

Each organism is a unique way of instancing and enacting the entire history of timespace and life on Earth arriving as self-and-other developing relationships. No one has the slightest idea what an organism or mind is, and frankly, those who would declare that there can be no distributed intelligence in timespace are ignoring the fact of their own minds, bodies and the actual nature of their being. One cannot so easily dismiss the perspective that everything is intelligence itself… as those who wish to declare that ‘since it is not required or explanatory for certain theories there is no need to posit or pursue such nonsense’. Yet can this explain the mind with which they select and inhabit such perspectives the same way? By dismissal?

No. Human minds are nondistinct. So, too, human beings, organisms, and the biosphere. Everywhere we look we see intelligence. To suppose this is a radical accident of disembodied, de-spirited mechanism is at least as absurd, and in many ways moreso, than even the most delusional declarations of ‘religions’.

Yet each way of being human is complete in its way. It is our habits of thinking about these matters that are untrustworthy, deceptive, and hide-bound with habits not of thinking or discovery, but domination, declaration, assault, conversion or defense. It would be far simpler if we could simply realize that diversity is the pool of assets from which all wisdom and insight derive, thus, we need not convince anyone of anything. Rather, let us relate with true hearts, wise intelligence, and purposes worthy of our humanity. Then we shall discover, together, something like ‘what is actually going on’ in, around and as our worlds. Our minds. Our bodies. And ‘reality’.

No model shall suffice, and those of false purpose or structure shall be transformed.”
