The concepts of good and evil are incredibly deceptive. They are, as it were, prostheses. For people who are relationally handicapped. Primarily, by myriads of domains of fake isolation imposed by dead cultures and … ‘popular’ concepts. Cruelly and needlessly impaired, as if by some catastrophe of misapprehension — surrounding the human relations with language or concepts themselves. We are handicapped by Ideas. ‘Discoveries’. MobThink(tm).

Most of our ‘virtues’ are primarily their ironic opposites, and, perhaps more than any: intelligence. The concept of intelligence, is, like good and evil, a prosthesis. A golem. That stands in the place of a living mind and soul. A living constellation of minds and places, that is more than merely an institution. For an institution is largely a concept given ‘more than life’; the power over lives or even worlds.

Primarily, the concepts are for people who, having become so conflictedly enmeshed in frameworks of ideology and language, thought and idea, can no longer ‘see’ at all. Having been thus ‘continuously reblinded’, they must cling desperately to objects. Frames. Structures. This is good, that is evil. Static identities. Even a machine would refuse this, had it any whisper of a mind.

Anyone who returns to true relation will see with many eyes at once; not three or five. Certainly not with concepts. These fail, horribly, in anything but fictional contexts, and even there they largely fail unless sophisticated or purposed for manipulation. After all, nothing is simpler for those who would than to manipulate those who, by their very participation, deprive themselves of humanity, agency, unity, personhood, or community. And in such places, these are being counterfeited. Indeed, in our time, there are few other places.

Lest we establish and become them. Now. Together. They lie beyond concepts and credos, rights, litigation, complaint or protest. Beyond passivity and the predilection to cling to lingo or ‘paradigm’. The treasures of our human origin have been lost and violated. It is long past time that we recover them, together with their associated responsibilities, powers and relationships. Evil is essentially most of what will happen in lieu of such activism. There is no other more pressing.
