In each of our lives we face many challenges. Most of them originate from vastly misguided or actively rapacious social anti-cultures, and the ceaseless damage they impose on our minds, lives, ecologies and human developmental needs.

Some of them originate from our own action or inaction, desire, anger, frustration, confusion, fear… from our human thought and emotions. But a vast portion of them have their origin far beyond us or our momentary lives.

Each one of us has been carefully pre- and re- isolated. From each other, nature, the possibilities of a true education, from well-being, rest and any reasonable experience of the nature or potential of our humanity. With money, these threats can, for individuals and families, be relatively mediated or even rendered superficially invisible.

But they do not disappear. They simply go underground.

So until and unless we are willing and able to establish human cultures that have the capacity to recognize and demonstrate the many intelligences that are comprise the endowments that the history of life on Earth has invested us with, we will continue to suffer egregious harms, confusions and violations. And we will participate in them, both actively and passively, because the cruelly malformed societies we exist in and for will both demand and reward this.

So the question becomes when. And who. Not how.

When will any of us. Even one or two, finally take on the necessity and responsibility of actively establishing nonlethal social groups, expanding these, making them more contagious than the damage we celebrate as progress, and standing up… not against… but beyond the omnicidal diseases we present call ‘civilization’.

And the answer to when is now.

And the answer to who?

Is you. And me. Together.
