The first, by itself, is staggering in most cases; the average animal is comprised of billions of cells, each one having within it a vast array of temporalities. Then there is their relation within the unity of the animal. Then there are all the temporalities of the animal’s relations with the world and time. From this perspective, it seems obvious, that organisms warp and generate new domains of time, and are, in many clearly distinguished ways, the temporal analog of stars as sources of light.
