The urgent desire for ‘personal’ immortality is the toxic result of utterly having failed to apprehend the nature of human birth, existence, development… and death. To understand living is to be free of the entire range of abstract concerns about death and, so, too, to be free of the ridiculously contagious horrors and paradises the humans so busily trade… instead of actually understanding their own nature. And the twin process-intelligences we call birth and death.
